Data Sharing Preferences
California and Nevada define the “sale” of data very broadly, including the sharing of data with third parties.
California defines a “sale” as “selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a consumer’s personal information by the business to another business or a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.”
Nevada defines “sale” as the “exchange of covered information for monetary consideration by the operator to a person for the person to license or sell the covered information to additional persons.”
As explained in greater detail in our RevOlinks California Consumer Privacy Statement, certain sharing of your personal data is necessary for us to complete any transaction that you enter into with RevOlinks. If you choose to enter into certain transactions with RevOlinks, including hotel stays, a certain amount of sharing of your personal data is required to perform our transactional obligations in connection with your reservation, to run our business and provide any services to you as a customer.
